Wow nice job Disney for sexualizing your only princess that despises everything that makes a girl socially aceptable to society. 


So today Merida will be “knight”  into the Disney Princess list at Walt Disney World, but she’s only able to join if she has her curls tamed, puts on make up, shows a little more skin and I don’t know… ugh wears the dress she detested and gets rid of her arrows! Oh but she still stands for everything she did before the make up, hair, and dress says Disney. NO. She doesn’t fucking stand for anything she did if you force her to cave in just to be in the list. Thats bullshit Disney thats bullshit. 

All I see is the character drawn in a different art style, with a different dress, and possibly a slimmer waist - but maybe not, because the change of angle could be deceiving. Am I missing something? I’m just confused about why this is a big issue?

In the cartoon she hates dresses or that specific dress apparently. So depicting her in it goes against her character completely. Other than that, it goes back to the whole, princesses wear dresses thing.
